Daily Devotion – December 31

Day 365 – December 31

God with us

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.”
2 Thessalonians 3:16

As we close this year out and embark on the next, let us end and begin with a blessing of peace the Lord has given to us. Let’s agree together that as we move into this year the Lord of peace will be with us and that our success isn’t based on how our 401K, our bank accounts, or our sports teams succeed, but that our singular focus will be on the Lord. That His purpose tied to His peace will overwhelm our hearts daily and that this year will be one in which the Lord’s promise and purpose will never leave our hearts and minds.

It’s impossible for us to do everything we are destined to do outside of the presence of the Lord. Only in His presence can we find purpose and peace. May the Lord’s calling for your life be evident and may his perfect love overwhelm you in this year we begin together, and may God richly bless you for His glory and honor.

The limit to what God does in our lives this year is strictly limited to our trust and obedience to His voice in our lives. Increase is coming!

We’re more than conquerors in Christ.
