Day 281 – October 9
“This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him.”
Have you ever noticed the fine line it takes to walk in our purpose?! On one hand it feels like we are full of pride when we declare what we are doing, and on the other hand it feels overwhelming when we constantly have to apologize and explain why we are doing what we are doing. Paul tells us in Ephesians 3 we have boldness and access to walk in what God has put in us through our faith in Christ. I love how the Message version words it: “When we trust in him, we’re free to say whatever needs to be said, bold to go wherever we need to go.”
When we operate in Christ and not in our old selves, we will function from the fruit of His spirit with kindness and gentleness saying what needs to be said. We will walk in the purpose of our calling. Stop apologizing and start being what you are called to be. Not everyone is going to like it, but God doesn’t intend everyone to be tied to you in the first place. Be you and God will mold you what He’s made you to become in Christ. Be bold!
We’re more than conquerors in Christ.
